Step-by-Step Instructions for Best Meatloaf Recipe
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking pan with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a medium skillet over medium-low heat, add the diced onion, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. In a large bowl, combine 2 large eggs, ¾ cup of milk, and ¾ cup of Italian breadcrumbs. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add cooled sautéed onions, 1 tablespoon of ketchup or chili sauce, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
