  1. Begin by draining the canned chicken thoroughly, ensuring no excess liquid remains. Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo hot sauce. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish and spread the chicken mixture into the dish. Distribute the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
