Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes, then dust work surface with flour and divide into 10 equal pieces.
  3. Roll each piece of dough into an 8-inch rope, thickening the ends to resemble bones. Snip both ends about 1 inch deep for realistic effect.
  4. Place shaped breadsticks on prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  5. Brush the melted butter over each breadstick and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake the breadsticks for about 15 minutes or until puffed and light golden in color.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the baked breadsticks and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
