- In a large mixing bowl, add 5 cups of Chex cereal and ensure it's evenly distributed.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of softened cream cheese. Heat in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
- Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1-2 drops of red food coloring to the melted mixture. Stir until uniform.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and gently fold until all pieces are coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal to a resealable bag, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.
- Add 1 cup of freeze-dried cherries to the bag, seal again, and shake gently to distribute.
- Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool for about 30 minutes.
