- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring continuously for about 3 minutes until the mixture begins to bubble and thicken.
- Carefully pour the hot toffee mixture over the arranged saltines and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until the toffee bubbles and starts to darken slightly. Avoid over-baking.
