Filling and Shaping
  1. While the dough is rising, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Set aside.
  2. Punch down the risen dough, roll it out into a rectangle, spread butter, and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Cut into strips and twist into a snowflake shape.
  3. Let the shaped snowflake rise for another 30 minutes on a baking sheet.
Baking
