  • 8 slices Thick-cut Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Chopped Red Onion or substitute with green onions
  • 1 cup Raisins can substitute with dried cranberries
  • 1 cup Aged Cheddar Cheese cubed
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar such as apple cider or white
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar adjust to taste
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash the broccoli thoroughly, trim into small florets, and pat dry. Optionally blanch in boiling water for 2–3 minutes then transfer to an ice bath.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine broccoli, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, raisins, and cheddar cheese. Fold gently.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
