- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease the mini muffin tin or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half. Press each piece into the greased muffin tin to create little cups.
- Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of the creamy filling into each cup, followed by another teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- Optionally, sprinkle chopped pecans or a pinch of orange zest on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are golden brown and filling is slightly set. Watch closely to avoid overbaking.
- Allow to cool slightly for about 5 minutes before serving warm.
