  • Mixing bowl
  • Saucepan

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the old fashioned oats along with your choice of nuts or seeds. Toss them together until evenly mixed.
  3. In a saucepan over low to medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, salt, vanilla extract, orange zest, cinnamon, and vegetable oil. Stir gently until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  4. Carefully pour the warm syrup over the oat and nut mixture. Using a large spatula, mix everything thoroughly until all ingredients are well-coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, creating a thin, even layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Once baked, remove the granola from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for about 10–15 minutes. Stir in the dried cranberries.
  7. Once completely cooled, transfer your Cranberry Orange Granola into airtight containers for storage.
