Preparation Steps
- In a food processor or immersion blender cup, add mayonnaise, basil leaves, parsley leaves, distilled white vinegar, and garlic. Blend until combined and leaves are minced, about 15-20 seconds.
- With the processor running, slowly drizzle in your choice of light oil. Continue blending for another 30 seconds until fully emulsified.
- Season to taste with kosher salt and black pepper, blending briefly to incorporate.
- Transfer dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Stir well before serving. Use as a dressing, dip, or sauce for meats.
