  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese can use Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Crushed Buttery Crackers e.g., Ritz; gluten-free alternatives available
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter can replace with olive oil

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and milk. Add sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden-brown and bubbly around the edges.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
