  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup or Agave
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice Leftover rice saves time
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional but recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Can substitute with nutmeg or cardamom
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest Optional
  • 1/2 cup Raisins Can substitute with other dried fruits

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the plant-based milk, cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Warm gently over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the cooked rice,lower the heat to low, and continue stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring often until thick and creamy.
  4. Stir in lemon zest and raisins. Adjust sweetness if desired, blending well.
  5. Serve warm or chill in the fridge. Garnish as desired before serving.
