- Gather your essential tools: a medium-sized saucepan, a whisk, a measuring cup, and serving cups or hollowed orange halves.
- In the saucepan, pour in the full-fat coconut cream, then add the freshly squeezed orange juice, granulated sugar, orange zest, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
- Place your saucepan over medium heat. Continuously whisk the mixture gently until it thickens, about 5–7 minutes.
- Once thickened, remove from heat. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into another bowl for a smooth texture.
- Pour the mixture into prepared serving cups or hollowed orange halves. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Serve chilled, garnished with orange zest or fresh berries.
