Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the ground sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  2. While the sausage is cooking, soften the cream cheese at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes or microwave it for about 20-30 seconds.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and cubes of Velveeta cheese. Stir until well-combined.
  4. Incorporate the sautéed sausage, diced tomatoes with green chiles, onion, garlic powder, and taco seasoning into the cheese mixture. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
