- In a medium or large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until it foams and gives off a nutty aroma.
- Add minced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until the garlic becomes fragrant but not browned. Remove the garlic.
- Add the gnocchi directly into the skillet, spread them out evenly, and increase the heat to high. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Once the gnocchi are golden brown, return the sautéed garlic to the pan and sprinkle in half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
- Remove the skillet from heat, transfer the gnocchi onto plates or a serving dish, and finish with the remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
