Ingredients
  

For the Slaw Base
  • 4 cups Green Cabbage Finely shredded for best texture
  • 3 pieces Green Onion Diagonally sliced
  • 1/4 cup Coriander/Cilantro Optional; add for extra flavor
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Can substitute with plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise or Olive Oil Choose based on preference
  • 1 piece Lime Zest and juice needed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Kosher salt recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream with mayonnaise (or olive oil). Add lime zest, juice, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Finely shred green cabbage and slice green onions. Add to the bowl with the dressing. Optionally add cilantro and mix gently.
  3. Toss the mixture thoroughly and cover it. Let it marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
  4. After marinating, gently toss again and serve as a topping or side salad.
