- In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream with mayonnaise (or olive oil). Add lime zest, juice, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Finely shred green cabbage and slice green onions. Add to the bowl with the dressing. Optionally add cilantro and mix gently.
- Toss the mixture thoroughly and cover it. Let it marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
- After marinating, gently toss again and serve as a topping or side salad.
