Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Make the brownie cookie dough by mixing unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  3. Create the chocolate chip cookie dough by creaming cold unsalted butter with sugars, then add egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and remaining chocolate chips.
  4. Assemble brookies by merging balls of brownie dough and chocolate chip cookie dough, placing them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-9 minutes until edges are set and centers are puffy. Let them cool on wire racks for 5 minutes before serving.
