Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in granulated and brown sugar.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl and fold into the wet mixture.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  7. Let brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out brownie hearts.
  9. Dust each brownie with powdered sugar and add heart sprinkles for decoration.
