- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Sift together almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream together softened unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition. Blend in almond extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
