  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders substitute with chicken breasts if needed
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour can use gluten-free flour as a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh garlic can also be used
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning use fresh herbs for more vibrancy
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper omit for milder taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil can substitute with vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter use salted butter if desired but adjust salt
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Shallots can substitute with onions
  • 1 cup Cremini & Shiitake Mushrooms any combination of mushrooms can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch flour can be used as a substitute
  • 1 cup Chicken Bone Broth can replace with vegetable broth for lighter flavor
  • 1/2 cup Dry Marsala Wine substitute with white wine if necessary
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley dried parsley can be used in a pinch
For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces Egg Noodles any pasta variety can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Cubed Unsalted Butter for Noodles can replace with olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic for Noodles optional

Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Marsala
  1. Prepare Chicken: Season all-purpose flour with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken tenders for 3 minutes on each side until golden. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter and sauté shallots and mushrooms for 20 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Deglaze with Wine: Pour in dry marsala wine and whisk to scrape browned bits from the skillet. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Thicken Sauce: Combine cornstarch with chicken broth in a bowl and pour into the skillet, stirring constantly. Simmer until thickened.
  7. Combine Chicken: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes, coating with sauce.
  8. Prepare Noodles: Boil water and cook egg noodles until al dente. Toss with butter and minced garlic.
  9. Serve: Plate noodles, spoon chicken and sauce over, and garnish with parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.
