Preparation Steps
- Combine tightly packed kale leaves, garlic cloves, pine nuts or walnuts, and olive oil in a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now to heat up.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 12 inches in diameter, ensuring even thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or preheated pizza stone. Spread the garlicky kale pesto over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Add cheese and other toppings of choice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, watching for a golden-brown crust and melted cheese.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice into wedges, and serve hot.
