Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of neutral oil and let it warm for about 1 minute.
- Once the oil is hot, add 1 pound of ground turkey, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to medium and stir in 4 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes until smooth.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet with the turkey and garlic. Stir well to coat the meat evenly with the sauce, allowing to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
- Incorporate most of the sliced green onions into the skillet and mix well. Remove from heat after about 1 minute.
- Serve the Honey Garlic Ground Turkey over rice, noodles, or in lettuce cups. Garnish with reserved green onions.
