Steps to Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60–70 minutes.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
- Once cooled, drizzle the maple glaze over the top of the pumpkin bread.
