Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all ingredients for assembly.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add thawed, well-drained spinach to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper, cooking for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix sautéed spinach with 15 ounces of ricotta cheese in a bowl. Optionally, add a pinch of nutmeg.
  5. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread marinara sauce on the bottom, add no-boil noodles, half the spinach-ricotta mixture, and cheese.
  6. Repeat layering: marinara sauce, noodles, remaining spinach-ricotta, and cheese until ingredients run out.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
