  • 1 container Frozen Whipped Topping, 8oz Make your own whipped cream if preferred.

For the Jello Layer
  • 1 pkg Strawberry Flavored Jell-O, 6oz Substitute with raspberry jello for an alternate flavor.
  • 2 cups Boiling Water No substitutions needed.
  • 1 pkg Frozen Strawberries, 16oz Fresh strawberries can be used if available.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 4.5 tablespoons of sugar. Stir until well blended.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the greased 9x13 baking dish to form an even layer. Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together 1 cup of sugar and the two packages of cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.
  6. In a sizable bowl, combine 2 cups of boiling water with the strawberry-flavored Jell-O mix and whisk until dissolved. Stir in the frozen strawberries.
  7. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until fully set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
