- Wash and dry the plastic Easter eggs thoroughly.
- Melt the baking chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Spoon melted chocolate into half of each plastic egg, filling to about 1/4 inch from the top.
- Press the top half of the egg on and spin gently to coat the interior with chocolate.
- Freeze the filled eggs upright for 6-8 minutes until chocolate is firm.
- Gently squeeze the plastic egg to remove the chocolate shell.
- Cut a tiny hole at the bottom of each egg for filling.
- Fill each egg through the hole with candies and sprinkles.
- Seal the hole with remaining melted chocolate.
- Decorate and present in clear treat bags with ribbons.
