Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sliced strawberries in a medium bowl and let sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pie dough to about 16-17 inches in diameter and cut into 6-7 inch circles.
  4. Place approximately ¼ of the strawberry mixture in the center of each circle, fold the edges over the filling.
  5. Brush the edges with milk or cream and sprinkle raw sugar on top.
  6. Bake the galettes for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with warm strawberry jam before serving.
