Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine sliced strawberries in a medium bowl and let sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.
- Roll out the refrigerated pie dough to about 16-17 inches in diameter and cut into 6-7 inch circles.
- Place approximately ¼ of the strawberry mixture in the center of each circle, fold the edges over the filling.
- Brush the edges with milk or cream and sprinkle raw sugar on top.
- Bake the galettes for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Remove from oven and brush with warm strawberry jam before serving.
