Method
 

Directions

  3. Once cooled slightly, stir in granulated sugar, followed by eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red gel food coloring until well distributed.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. If desired, fold in the white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Let cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing.
