Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
  2. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  3. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes until pink and opaque on the bottom, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the garlic honey lime sauce into the skillet. Stir gently to coat the shrimp, and let the sauce bubble for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat, transfer the garlic lime shrimp to a serving platter, and sprinkle with cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.
