For the Broccoli
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets Fresh and firm
  • 4 cloves Garlic Freshly minced
For Roasting
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional for spice
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Finely grated

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mince the garlic and add it into the bowl with the broccoli.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle in salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, and toss to combine.
  5. Spread the broccoli mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast the broccoli in the oven for 15 minutes, until bright green and slightly caramelized.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the roasted broccoli and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool for a minute, and serve hot.
