Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Clean the mushrooms using a damp cloth to remove dirt without washing it directly.
  2. Melt butter (or oil) in a skillet over medium-high heat, allowing it to sizzle for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Sauté mushrooms in a single layer for 5 to 7 minutes until browned and tender.
  4. Simmer excess liquid uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes if needed.
  5. Stir in minced garlic, oregano, and chili flakes; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in cream and lemon juice; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted; cook for another minute.
  8. Season with salt and pepper; stir in parsley before serving.
