  • 1/4 cup Gochujang Sauce Adjust sweetness with honey or sugar.
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs Use gluten-free for gluten-free option.
  • 1 cup Cucumber Slices Can substitute with other crunchy veggies.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Omit if not favored.
For the Kimchi Bacon Jam
  • 1 cup Kimchi Can substitute with sauerkraut if needed.
  • 4 oz Bacon Substitute with turkey bacon or omit for vegetarian.
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar Adjust amount to taste.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, gochujang sauce, breadcrumbs, and any desired seasonings. Mix gently and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide the chicken mixture into equal portions and shape into 3/4 inch thick patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add cooking oil, and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. In a separate skillet, cook diced bacon over medium heat until crispy, then add chopped kimchi and brown sugar, and cook until caramelized.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Assemble the burgers with the patty, kimchi bacon jam, cucumber slices, and cilantro, then cap with the bun.
