  • 8 oz Thin Egg Noodles Look for 'thin wonton noodles' at Chinese markets.
  • 4 cups Water Bring to a rolling boil.
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce Use low sodium if desired.
  • 1 whole Garlic Minced.
For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil Vegetable or sesame oil.
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Green Onions Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together oyster sauce and soy sauce until combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook thin egg noodles for 20-30 seconds until al dente. Drain.
  4. Transfer noodles to the sauté pan with garlic and sauce mixture. Toss gently for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
