Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until well-combined and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add the yellow cake mix, mixing on low speed until a thick dough forms.
  5. Fold in the holiday sprinkles until evenly distributed in the dough.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll in powdered sugar.
  8. Arrange the dough balls on prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft and gooey.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
