Step-by-Step Instructions for Baked Beans & Ground Beef Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 23 x 33 cm (9×13 inch) baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, then drain excess grease.
  3. Add diced onion and green bell pepper to skillet; sauté for 5–8 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar, then season with salt and pepper; simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in the undrained pork and beans.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes until bubbling and heated through.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
