Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 cups of fresh water in a saucepan until it boils.
  2. Add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the petals.
  5. Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar while the tea is warm until dissolved.
  6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature (15-20 minutes).
  7. Mix in 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1/2 cup of strawberry puree.
  8. Add 1 tablespoon of honey, stirring to dissolve.
  9. Pour 1 cup of cold water into a glass to dilute the mixture.
  10. Combine the hibiscus mixture with the cold water in the pitcher and pour over ice.
