  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree 100% pure
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
For the Egg Wash
  • 1 egg Egg mixed with 1 tbsp water

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the filling by mixing pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Cover and chill for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets to 10x12 inches and cut into 6 equal rectangles each. Keep covered with a towel.
  3. Assemble by placing a tablespoon of filling in the center of each rectangle, fold and seal edges, then twist.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cool twists on a wire rack for few minutes before serving warm.
