- Prep the Crockpot: Generously spray the inner pot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix Ingredients: Combine the chocolate cake mix, whole milk, canola oil, and eggs in a bowl and stir until smooth.
- Add to Crockpot: Pour batter evenly into the prepared crockpot.
- Mix Pudding: Whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth and pour over the cake batter.
- Layer Pudding & Chips: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the pudding layer.
- Cook: Cover and cook on high for approximately 2 1/2 hours, until edges are set and center is gooey.
- Serve: Let sit for 10 minutes and serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
