Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a muffin tin with parchment liners.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cooled espresso, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and whisk until combined.
  4. Slowly drizzle in the melted butter while whisking gently until well mixed.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently using a spatula.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping if desired.
  7. Fill each muffin cup to the top with the batter.
