- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook 1 pound of ground beef with 1 diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves over medium heat until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in 3 cups of marinara sauce and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Let it simmer on low for 5-10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix 15 ounces of ricotta cheese with half of the Parmesan cheese and salt/pepper to taste.
- Layer in the baking dish with meat sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat layers finishing with meat sauce and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
