Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Stir in marinara sauce and tomato paste; season and let simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Mix ricotta cheese, half the grated Parmesan, and seasonings in a medium bowl.
  5. Layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in the baking dish, finishing with meat sauce and cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes.
  7. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
