Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C). Allow the grill several minutes to heat up.
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in garlic seasoning for the garlic butter glaze.
  3. Crisp the pepperoni slices by microwaving them between paper towels for 15 seconds.
  4. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, salt, and pepper. Form into four equal-sized patties.
  5. Grill the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Brush the buns with garlic butter, then grill cut-side down for about 1 minute until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom half of a bun, add pizza sauce, mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni.
  8. Optionally, melt the cheese by broiling the assembled burgers for a minute or two.
  9. Serve immediately with toasted top buns and enjoy!
