Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather ingredients and prep your workspace.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg and mix with ground beef, ground pork, chopped green pepper, diced onion, black olives, minced garlic, almond flour, dried basil, salt, dried parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper until just blended.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a meatloaf pan or shape it on a baking sheet. Press firmly to avoid air pockets, shaping it about 2 inches high.
  4. Spread 1/3 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the top of the loaf to enhance flavor and moisture.
  5. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 155°F (68°C).
  6. After baking, cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle warmed pizza sauce over each slice when serving.
