Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the focaccia loaf horizontally, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer fresh mozzarella rounds, prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and arugula on the bottom half of the focaccia. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  3. Place the top half of the focaccia back on, pressing down gently to secure the ingredients.
  4. Optionally, warm the sandwich in the oven for 5-7 minutes or use a panini press for 3-5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool for a minute, cut into portions, and serve warm. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
