Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes until nicely browned.
  2. Push the browned beef to one side of the skillet. Add 1 diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves to the empty space and sauté for about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in 3 cups of broccoli florets and sauté for an additional minute to allow the broccoli to absorb beef juices.
  4. Sprinkle the mixture with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring halfway through to achieve tender-crisp broccoli.
  6. Reduce heat to low, pour in ½ cup of heavy cream, and stir gently to combine the flavors.
  7. Top the mixture with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and cover until the cheese melts, about 2–3 minutes.
  8. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle red pepper flakes before serving, if desired.
  9. Serve hot directly from the skillet.
