- Bring salted water to a boil, add penne pasta, and cook for about 7-8 minutes until al dente. Drain pasta and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, add ground beef, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 7-8 minutes until beef is browned.
- Stir in cottage cheese and pasta sauce into the meat mixture. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Add drained penne pasta to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
