Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Add lemon zest, fresh lemon juice, and vanilla extract into the mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  6. Roll out the chilled dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  7. Place cut cookies on the baking sheet and refrigerate again for 10 minutes.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool.
  9. Dust cooled cookies with extra powdered sugar before serving.
