  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Can be replaced with nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Substitute with fresh grated ginger if desired
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cloves Optional but enhances flavor complexity
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Can be omitted for less complexity
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Reduce for milder results

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts, and peanuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey and the spices until smooth.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the nuts and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the nut mixture evenly on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  8. Transfer to an airtight container for storage or serve immediately.
