  • 1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce Ensure it's thick enough
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for egg wash
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme Leaves Optional; substitute with rosemary or herbs de Provence

  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into 3-inch squares or circles.
  4. Center a small cube of creamy Brie cheese on each piece of pastry.
  5. Top each Brie cube with about one teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the filled pastries, and add thyme leaves if using.
  7. Either fold the corners of the pastry over the filling or leave open.
  8. Brush the tops of each pastry with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
