Cake Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by lining the bottom with parchment paper and greasing the sides.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and fine sea salt until combined.
- Add the whole milk, vegetable oil, sour cream, large eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix gently until combined.
- Gradually add the hot coffee to the batter, mixing until smooth and thin.
